  Hmm it seems like a ux problem - if a low fee tx gets stuck users shouldn’t be locked out of funds for 5 days

  mempool clears quicker thanks to growing block sizes

  IIRC a day if it was not in a block, 7 days if it was. It can be dropped earlier if the txpool grows too much though.
