there are. They released the bridge, but it's problematic to unlink the old rooms. Should be fixed soon

Hi, I cannot connect to getmonero dot org "Connection refused". Why am I blacklisted? Your advice? Same behavior for brew install --cask monero-wallet. VPN on/off doesn't make a difference.

However, I can open the site with startpage.com Anonymous View as well as my iPhone.

Do you have more info than "connection refused" ?

In any case, it uses cloudflare, so this seems like a probably culprit.

It's definitely not 0.0.0.0, so DNS lookup failing apparently.

How come? Same thing whether or not I'm on VPN…

If you're running systemd-resolved, try disabling it ?

Or set an alternate DNS in /etc/resolv.conf (careful, programs like to overwrite it).

Switched to DNS 8.8.8.8 from 1.1.1.2 and it's working now. Apparently, Cloudflare thinks Monero is malware :)

Rationale: After I changed to Google's DNS as my primary DNS, the problem has disappeared. Also, I when I added Google's DNS as a fallback the site is opening when I switch off Cloudflare WARP+ VPN on my machine.

I have already raised the issue with Cloudflare as a paying VPN customer.

This is what I'm using: blog.cloudflare.com/warp-for-desktop

1.1.1.2 and 1.0.0.2 are apparently blocking the getmonero.org domain. I can see no other explanation.

ah - downloads.getmonero.org is classified as "cryptomining"

the classification is I guess somewhat correct, the action that 1.1.1.2 takes is to block *all* cryptomining sites by default

we'd have to request a reclassification
