Especially considering the popularity of gumroad among the internet/twitter/youtube grifters... such a platform can easily put monero into the mind-space of as much normie consoomers and content-creators alike.

so actually whenever I spend any monero my entire wallet balance seems to get locked until the confirmations come in, not just the amount that I spent

yeah, thats because all of your monero is in one output

is the rest getting sent back to a "change address" or something like that?

so the transaction has to eat that output as an input, and then spit out two new outputs - one to wherver your sending it, and the other is change

the GUI imo does a disservice by hiding the outputs entirely

in a world where people use monero for day to day street transactions i wonder what people would do

well, the gui is meant to be simple

perhaps they are viewable in advanced mode?

they are not unfortunately

output management has been talked about for advance mode

but yeah though if you've got 4-5 outputs in your wallet you can go on a shopping spree no problem, and that's a lot easier now that the GUI supports multiple outputs

have any other GUI wallets done it? That way we could see how the UI is done

I’ve opened a CCS MR in which I seek funding to work on putting together a good user friendly implementation of 2/2 multisig and 2/3 multisig in the core GUI wallet as well as some other smaller GUI things. I’d appreciate a look and any comments/criticism :)
