but is there a way to make it show a qr code that contains the information you'd get from `integrated_address`?

Their CEO is very aggressively FUDing/lying about Monero at every turn

Like everything else it has tradeoffs, but it's a solid choice for a scalable network/layer if those tradeoffs are understood and clearly communicated.
