How can we get the attention of need-money who is able to solve the recurring problems with Reddit. I haven't tried Facebook or Twitter, but we just got a rejected message posting to Reddit for a completely spam free text to advertise tomorrow's village meeting.

The message is deleted and the user banned, bir the user can message any mod to be unbanned. The bot just bans and forgets, it does not remember the ban to re-enforce it.

No reason someone should be able to post images so quickly.

for discord even a captcha verification doesnt even prevent all the bots from spam dm'ing as they can call the function to dm from the list of people in the server even if they dont see the list of people online, thats really dumb...

the irc spam was most likely automated so monero-guard will help there hopefully

If there's a way to date Matrix account creation, the age of the account vs post timing would also be a decent indicator; you'd expect it to be seconds small if automated

spending energy on preventing manual spam is probably wasted energy

I think you can only have presence tracking w/ the Matrix/Synapse release from 1-2 weeks ago, which at the time at least, monerosocial wasn't on

i don't think it's related to the synapse version, but to the room version and synapse config.

At least in the past, in rooms that I've been admin on like Space, there has been an Element prompt to upgrade to the new room version (at least for v5->v6), so I would assume to see it for v7 if it was detached from Synapse releases
