About adding merchnts to the homepage. I think makes sense to restrict the addition of exchanges and add only those that have somehow a history. Investigating that for each exchange shouldn't be too time consuming.

For example we have an exchange asking to be listed that smells like scam from kilometers away.

I couldn't find any history or mention of this exchange and the name makes me think their whole purpose is to show first in the list, to have higher possibilities to scam somebody

i would like to have an input from core about this, so we can decide how to proceed from now on.

Note that i wouldn't change the disclaimers on the website where we say we don't do any vetting

Does getmonero.org use any kind of server-side analytics for traffic monitoring? Is it possible for me to get a screenshot of the traffic chart if it exist, please? :)

we have matamo but it's not properly setup IIRC
